AMA Havana Crafting Experience with Local Entrepreneurs

This hands-on experience provides a meaningful opportunity to directly support and engage with independent Cuban entrepreneurs through a creative workshop at AMA Havana. Founded during the pandemic by María (bass player) and Ana (flautist), AMA emerged from a small family space and has grown into a recognized Cuban women-led fashion brand contributing to Cuba's evolving private sector.

Participants will take part in a guided crafting session, creating a handmade AMA bracelet while engaging in open dialogue with the founders about their journey as female entrepreneurs in Cuba. This experience highlights the role of small private businesses in fostering economic independence, creativity, and community development. By participating, travelers contribute directly to the sustainability of a local, Cuban women-led enterprise, in full alignment with the "Support for the Cuban People" category.
